Vulnerability, Gratitude
2020-08-19
I’m continuing to hike or run Tunnel Mountain every day during the month of November. It’s five blocks from my home. I’m also posting on Facebook about something different that I’m grateful for. To follow me on Facebook click here . Below are the posts that I made on Facebook each day.
GoT: Day 22 of 30 – November 22, 2017
I am grateful to be more compassionate, loving, accepting and gentle with myself now than at any point in my past.
I used to be someone who was very hard on myself. Beating myself up. Criticizing mistakes made. Being kind to everyone but me.
It was a slushy and wet run up and down Tunnel today on a beautiful day…mid-afternoon we were at +8C 🙂
GoT: Day 23 of 30 – November 23, 2017
I am grateful for there being more coverage of good news in the media nowadays, especially in the non mainstream media.
One website I love is Good News Network. A story I read today on there was truly inspiring!
Thank you to Pete for joining me in hiking Tunnel Mtn today to admire the beautiful view 😉
GoT: Day 24 of 30 – November 24, 2017
I am grateful to be pain-free and injury-free.
GoT: Day 25 of 30 – November 25, 2017
I am grateful that I have agency to fully choose what I desire to do with my life.
GoT: Day 26 of 30 – November 26, 2017
I am grateful to have had a deep tissue massage earlier tonight, focusing on my tight hip area. Almost screamed “uncle” more than a few times lol. I’m just about to head into the tub for an epsom salt bath followed by a sleep marathon.
GoT: Day 27 of 30 – November 27, 2017
I am grateful for always having an abundance of food in my home. I consider myself truly fortunate to not have to worry about where my next meal is coming from.
GoT: Day 28 of 30 – November 28, 2017
I am grateful for a beautiful hike up Tunnel Mountain earlier this evening.
The nearly full moon illuminated the freshly fallen snow, meaning that I didn’t have to use my headlamp at all. It was very lightly snowing making the sky and moon look a little surreal. As a bonus I had the trail to myself!
